Dan Woirin

Daniel Woirin is revered worldwide by all of the top experts as one of the best striking coaches in pro MMA. When MMA’s elite fighters need training and advice in Muay Thai, they contact Daniel.

Daniel had a thriving career early on, fighting against greats like Kertubi, Laidoni, Jeremie Charlet and Khaled (who was then the reigning Muay Thai World Champion). When a fracture injury to his tibia forced Daniel to retire from fighting, his career was put on a path of teaching and coaching.

He coached top athletes in the Muay Thai French Federation and also in the 2002 European Championship, where his French team took home most of the medals. To move forward in his career, Daniel and his family moved to Brazil, where he gained even more attention and respect as a Muay Thai and kickboxing trainer. In Brazil, Daniel’s tutelage brought Ricardo Arona to champion form and Ricardo became PRIDE FC champion. Soon, more fighters recognized that Daniel’s training would take them to the top. Daniel began coaching major names like Joinha, Carlos Barreto's Black House, Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belford.

Daniel knew that transporting his family again was the next necessary move. He was snapped up by Team Quest, fighting out of Temecula, California. There, he worked with the one-and-only Dan Henderson, leading to Henderson claiming two championships. Daniel currently works alongside MMA greats including Dan Henderson, Tarec Saffiedine, Sam Alvey and Mehdi Baghdad.

Daniel continues to prove over and over again that he is the greatest Muay Thai coach in MMA history.
